Dear students,

Unfortunately, there is no opportunity for face-to-face education for this period due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Higher Education Council (YÖK) declared on 26 March 2020 that it was decided that universities will not continue face-to face education in the Spring Term of 2019-2020 Academic Year, but they will continue it with distance education and digital education methods. In parallel with this decision, our University have also decided to continue with the distance education method for remaining part of Spring Semester of 2019-2020 Academic Year. Hence, the courses in the Spring Semester of 2019-2020 Academic Year will be continued through distance education starting from April 6, 2020.

All courses in our Faculty, except Internship, will be continued, as limited to only this semester, by distance education system to avoid any disruption of your education. Distance learning of all other courses, except Graduation Thesis, will be carried out through the Distance Learning System (MERGEN) over the internet (https://mergen.btk.gov.tr). You need to contact your supervisors about how to complete the graduation thesis course. We will try to compensate for practical sessions of the courses in the future anyway.

I strongly recommend you to visit our Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Distance Education Coordinatorate website (http://ohu.edu.tr/uzaktanegitim) and read the useful information, notes and explanations related to the new learning system.
