Course Objective
The aim of this course is to learn the scope of economic philosophy, the debates conducted. Students who take this course will be able to analyze and discuss the philosophy, connection, development potential and problems of economics. They will learn how to examine the basic texts of economic philosophy.
Brief Content of the Course
Throughout the history of humanity, it is aimed to reveal the formation and development of economic thought, to promote the major economic schools. It is aimed to tell the emergence of economic doctrines in an ideological sense to students in the light of a historical perspective. In the lessons, pre-liberal economic thought predicts classical economics, neo-classical interventionist tendencies and basic economic doctrines as well as Marxist economic thought. Economic trends in the period of globalization will also be revealed.
