Our School's Chess Social Area Has Been Opened for the Use of Our Students

With a new project implemented by Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Social Contribution Coordination, the chess social area, which was created to enable our students to spend their free time efficiently and contribute to their mental development, has been made available for the use of our students.

This area, created with the support of the Social Contribution Coordination, was planned within the framework of our university's student-focused approach and vision that encourages social development. Our students showed great interest in the area, where students can both get away from academic intensity and relax, and develop their strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

During the implementation of the project, Social Contribution Coordinator Lecturer Dr. Bilal Çilkaya visited our Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre Yavuzer in his office. During the visit, ideas were exchanged regarding increasing student-centered projects and enriching campus life.

The chess area, which was opened to the use of our students, was met with great interest.
