A vocational and technical education promotional event was held.


An information event was organized at Bor Halil Zöhre Ataman Vocational School by the Niğde Provincial Directorate of National Education Career Development and Application Center to introduce vocational and technical education to 8th grade and high school students.

The event was attended by academic staff from Bor Halil Zöhre Ataman Vocational School and teachers from the Ministry of National Education working in Niğde city center and districts.

Before the event, the teachers from the Ministry of National Education visited the Director of Bor Halil Zöhre Ataman Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre Yavuzer, in his office. Following the visit, Yavuzer gave the opening speech of the program, providing general information about the academic structure of the vocational school and informing about the Environmental Protection Technologies Program, which accepted students for the first time this year.

The program included presentations on the departments. The Head of the Textile, Clothing, Footwear and Leather Department, Lecturer Dr. Suna Durdu Zor, provided information about the Textile, Clothing, Footwear and Leather Department, while the Head of the Design Department, Lecturer Büşra Taşpunar Küçük, presented information about the Design Department. The presentation of the Handicrafts Department was given by the Head of the Handicrafts Department. The program was organized by Ergün Çevik.

Following this, İhsan Uğraş and Sinan Taşkıran, coordinators of the Niğde Provincial Directorate of National Education Career Development and Application Center, spoke, providing information on vocational guidance and career planning processes for 8th-grade and high school students.

The program, attended by teachers from Niğde province and its districts, concluded with a visit to the workshops of Bor Halil Zöhre Ataman Vocational High School.

The aim of the event is to guide middle and high school students towards vocational and technical education and to contribute to their career planning.
