Arithmetic and algebraic operations, calculating the power and root of a real number, equations and inequalities, drawing lines and parabolas, using trigonometric ratios, exponential and logarithmic functions.
Compulsory AEK1003 DIRECT CURRENT CIRCUITS 3 1 5
Definitions of circuit elements, current-voltage relationship in dependent and independent sources. Concepts of current, voltage and resistance, Ohm's law, series and parallel DC circuits, DC analysis methods, DC power usage, Kirchoff's laws and circuit equations, welding cycles, Superposition, Mesh currents, Node voltages, Thevenin and Norton theories, Electrical power and energy definitions, formulas.
Compulsory AEK1005 MEASUREMENT TECHNIQUES 3 1 5
Measurement, calibration, physical and electrical standard units and unit conversions. Length measurement, weight measurement, area measurement, volume measurement, fluid measurement, temperature measurement, slope measurement, cross-section and diameter measurement, speed and revolution measurement, light measurement, sound measurement, pressure and tension measurement, moment measurement. Error, delay and basic meter related effects. Classification of errors and their components. Current, voltage and power measurements. Instantaneous, average and peak values of electrical quantities. Definition and measurement of active and reactive power. Electrodynamic meters and their classifications. Wattmeter, Voltmeter and Ammeter. Measurement of resistance, capacitance and induction. Measurements made with an oscilloscope.

Compulsory ATA1015 ATATURK PRINCIPLES AND THE HISTORY OF REVOLUTION II 2 0 2
The purpose of this course is to help students understand the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire, the Turkish War of Independence, the Treaty of Lausanne, and the significance of the new Turkish State.
Compulsory TDL1011 TURKISH LANGUAGE I 2 0 2
The aim of the Turkish Language course is to enable higher education students to understand the structure and functioning features of their native language, as expressed in the Higher Education Law. It seeks to develop the ability to use Turkish correctly and beautifully as a tool for written and oral expression, with a focus on the connection between language and thought. The course aims to establish a unifying and integrative language in teaching, and to strengthen native language awareness by introducing students to the beautiful and valuable examples of our literature.

Compulsory AEK1004 ALTERNATING CURRENT (AC) CIRCUITS 3 1 5
To understand waveforms, period, frequency and phase concepts in Alternating Current (AC). To know the Ohmic, Inductive and Capacitive load types of AC circuits and to make calculations in case the loads are connected in series or parallel. To learn the behaviour of inductors and capacitors in AC circuits. To be able to perform circuit analysis with superposition, network and node analysis, Thevenin and Norton theorems. To learn phase and line currents and voltages in phase AC circuits.
Compulsory AEK1006 TRANSFORMERS AND DIRECT CURRENT (DC) MACHINES 3 1 5
This course aims to introduce students to 1-phase and 3-phase transformers, DC shunts, series, compound dynamos and motors, and to teach their operating characteristics.

Understanding the general structure of software packages related to facility project drafting. Being able to use the software package actively and effectively to perform drawing and design.

The aim of the course is to teach Basic Electrical and Electronic concepts and laws, to explain the standards and usage areas of the materials used, to calculate electrical quantities and measure them using appropriate measurements, to establish basic electrical and electronic circuits, which will help them develop their knowledge and technical skills.

The aim of the course is to provide competencies regarding the identification, connection and operation of asynchronous and synchronous electrical machines. To be able to recognize the structure of three-phase and single-phase asynchronous motors, to understand their features and uses. To understand the starting, speed control and braking methods of asynchronous motors and their equivalent circuits. Being able to recognize the structure of synchronous machines. Ability to understand the loading of synchronous machines and different connection of synchronous generators.
