Occupational Therapy Seminars Conducted by Our Faculty for Niğde Probation Directorate Personnel and Convicts

Two significant seminar sessions were successfully conducted at the Niğde Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office Probation Directorate.

Lecturer Fatıma Zehra TURAN from the Faculty’s Department of Occupational Therapy delivered specialized training sessions for the institutional personnel and individuals under probation.

• On December 19, 2025, the first seminar, titled "The Role of Occupational Therapy in Probation," was held for the directorate staff. The session addressed the strategic importance of occupational therapy interventions within the scope of the rehabilitation process.

• On December 25, 2025, a second seminar titled "Social Participation" was organized for convicts. This session focused on enhancing social adaptation and increasing engagement in the activities of daily living (ADL).

Through such initiatives, our university aims to transform academic expertise into social utility and provide professional support for the rehabilitation and reintegration processes of individuals within the probation system.
