Course Objectives 
1To provide theoretical knowledge on understanding the basic concepts of career planning (knowledge, skills, personality, intelligence, talent, goal setting, and competence, etc.) and determining individual career goals.
2To provide students with a strategic perspective on evaluating career development and management processes (career paths, career plateaus, career anchors, etc.) and creating their own career development paths.
3To raise awareness about effectively utilizing the services offered by university career centers and other support units.
4To provide students with practical experience in learning about and applying for international exchange programs (Erasmus, Farabi, Mevlana) and various scholarship opportunities (TÜBİTAK, Ministry of National Education YLSY, Higher Education Council support, etc.).
5To develop effective communication skills (communication processes and elements, diction, body language, use of new media, etc.) and to develop competence in applying different types of communication.
6To provide students with the ability to understand the importance of soft skills (effective presentation, time management, stress management, leadership, teamwork, analytical thinking, empathy, etc.) and to integrate these skills into their personal development processes.
7To provide knowledge on understanding the structures, application requirements and career impacts of important public and academic exams (KPSS, DGS, ALES, YDS, e-YDS, YÖKDİL, TOEFL, etc.).
8To provide practical skills in applying professional resume preparation techniques (content, sections, cover letter, etc.) and interview types (situational, behavioral, panel, group interviews, etc.).
9To provide awareness in recognizing personal characteristics (SWOT/SCOT analysis, GROW model, and personality types, etc.) and integrating these analyses into career decisions.
10To provide competence in actively using digital career platforms and taking advantage of career opportunities.
