1Recognize the basic concepts of plant cell and tissue culture and explain its historical development.
2Explain totipotency and different culture techniques (callus culture, organogenesis, embryogenesis, etc.) and give examples.
3Use the equipment, tools, and sterilization techniques required for tissue culture.
4Apply the processes of callus induction, organogenesis, and somatic embryo formation.
5Explain and apply micropropagation techniques.
6Evaluate secondary metabolite production through cell culture techniques.
7Compare and discuss protoplast isolation and fusion techniques.
8Design experiments, collect data, and analyze the obtained results.
9Criticize and evaluate the application areas of plant tissue culture in biotechnology.
