Course Objective
Waste characterization, introduction of pre-treatments and bioconversion processes in the conversion of solid and liquid wastes into commercial and useful products such as ethanol, hydrogen gas, biosurfactant by biological methods, biological processing of industrial wastes, obtaining hydrogen and nitrogen gas from wastes.

Classification of wastes, bioprocessing of waste paper, bioprocessing of wastes containing starch, hydrogen gas production from starch, sugar, etc. industrial wastewater, nitrate and nitrogen gas extraction from wastewater, bioprocessing of gaseous wastes, evaluation of waste in terms of sustainability
