Course Objective
In the end of this course, students will have social and historical knowledge on English literature from the end of the 18th Century to the present and will be familirized with important works and authors of the periods included.
Brief Content of the Course
This course provides a survey of British literature, dating roughly from the end of the 18th Century to the present. Students will be informed about the social, political, historical, philosophical and cultural characteristics, and the prominent and important literary types, authors and works of each historical period.
