Course Objective
Issues by giving the basic chemistry concepts, determination of rates of chemical reactions, to learn the properties of acids and bases, learned the laws of thermodynamics relate to everyday life, explaining the differences between metals and nonmetals, and teach the importance of everyday lives
Brief Content of the Course
Chemical kinetics: rate laws, reaction speed, and measurement. Chemical Equilibrium: Basic principles, equality of the equilibrium constant, factors affecting the balance. Thermochemistry: enthalpy, internal energy, entropy. Acids and Bases: Arrhenius concept, Bronsted-Lowry concept, strong and weak bases and acid-base reactions and acid-hydrolysis. Solubility and complex ion equilibria: solubility constant precipitation. I Metals Main Group Elements: Alkali metals, alkaline earth metal. Main Group Elements II: Nonmetals: noble gases, halogens, oxygen and nitrogen, carbon, silicon, boron. Electrochemistry: electrolysis and battery.Understanding the meaning of the concept of sustainable development, to adopt the concept of sustainability in the use of resources in their own lives.
