Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide the student with a professional knowledge and culture. On the other hand, the relationship between journalism and other basic theoretical courses is tried to be conveyed. In addition, the course, which will chart the development of the relationship between journalism and democracy, aims to reveal the details of sustainability knowledge and the relationship between both fields.
Brief Content of the Course
The concepts of newspaper, journalism and journalist, the historical development of newspaper and journalism, the conditions affecting journalism and the sustainability of the profession under these conditions will be discussed. In addition the structural and technical characteristics of the newspaper, the aspects of it from other mass media, the functions of the newspaper; news, information information distribution, agencies, international communication; general broadcasting policy, function, components and implementation, organization structure in the newspaper, departments and employees; the subjects such as the preparation and publication process of newspaper publication, types and stages of newspaper printing will be explained.
