Course Objective
To teach the usage areas of modern manufacturing methods in industry; to compare with traditional methods; to analyze advantages and disadvantages; to understand the shaping principles.
Brief Content of the Course
This course combines theoretical and practical knowledge covering modern manufacturing methods. Advanced forming processes such as electronic, chemical, and thermal are examined in comparison with traditional methods, as well as rapid prototyping, powder technologies, and sustainable manufacturing approaches. Students will gain the ability to identify different manufacturing techniques, understand process-parameter-product relationships, and select the appropriate technology.
