Course Objective
The purpose of the history of mathematics is to determine the place of mathematics in the history of science, to ensure the understanding of certain concepts related to the history of mathematics, and to explain the mathematics of different civilizations and the ways in which mathematics emerged in different civilizations.
Brief Content of the Course
The information and documents obtained as a result of many years of scientific research are classified according to scientific principles. The place of this information in the civilizations in history is explained in a comparative and chronological manner. In mathematics, subjects such as number, counting, shape, definition, theorem are exhibited in a sustainable way, from the beginning to the present day, in a scientific thought and chronological framework. Scientists who have found a place in history until today are examined chronologically.
