Course Objective
The course aims to help students develop awareness of their own communication styles, as well as their strengths and areas for improvement in communication. Additionally, it seeks to enhance both personal and organizational success through the acquisition of effective communication skills. The course is designed to foster students’ abilities to think critically, analyze, and engage in discussions related to the field of communication.
Brief Content of the Course
The course covers the definition, elements, and characteristics of communication and effective communication, including the language used, self-awareness, active listening and feedback, factors that facilitate or hinder communication, persuasive communication, the role and expression of emotions in communication, effective communication techniques, conflict in communication and its prevention, nonverbal communication skills, rules of conduct in social life, etiquette and manners, practical communication exercises, and the integration of communication with other disciplines.
