Course Objective
This course aims to teach students how to read scales in G major, D major, E major, F major, B-flat major, and E-flat major and related minor keys, to read and write melodies, to read natural, harmonic, and melodic major-minor scales, to recite solfege in G and F clef, to develop the individual's hearing ability, to establish and vocalize intervals on any sound, to learn character intervals, to vocalize and distinguish major-minor 3/5 chords, and to learn the dominant 7th chord.
Brief Content of the Course
Interval knowledge, recognition of intervals, recognition and vocalization of major and minor scales (natural, harmonic, melodic) with different sound modifiers, recognition of minor scales, learning the degrees of major and minor scales and understanding basic chord structures on these degrees, learning the formation and inversions of the D7 (Dominant Seventh) chord and vocalization of these, being able to write dictation in 3-sharp and 3-flat tones, being able to read solfege in the G and F clefs.
