Course Objective
To have information about the historical development of occupational safety concept in the world and in our country, current occupational safety practices and principles.
Brief Content of the Course
Historical development of Occupational Health and Safety, the concept of occupational safety, the importance of work safety in terms of workforce efficiency, basic elements in occupational safety, sources of hazards, the concept of occupational health, National and International occupational health and safety related organizations, Occupational accidents and occupational diseases Physical Risk Factors, Chemical Risk Factors, Biological Risk Factors.
