Course Objective
It is very important for those who have to work with and manage people to have sufficient knowledge about human and human behavior in terms of both a healthy organizational structure, human motivation and work efficiency. It is very difficult to predict the behavior of people in different institutions and organizations or businesses. The reason why it is difficult; People's needs and value systems are different. Despite this difficulty, the possibility of understanding and predicting people's behavior through behavioral sciences is quite high. With the organizational behavior course, it is aimed to better understand the individual and group behaviors of the personnel working in institutions or businesses, to motivate them better in line with this information, and to guide them about human relations and behaviors. In addition, it is aimed to contribute to the managers' understanding of the causes of human behavior and the effects of these behaviors on the business.
Brief Content of the Course
Development, definition, application area and importance of behavioral sciences, sciences constituting behavioral sciences, basic concepts of behavioral sciences, culture and cultural change, social influence and conformity behavior, social structure and social relations; In the establishment of the system, social institutions, learning, perception, social groups, emotional intelligence, personality and self, attitudes and prejudice, interpersonal communication, adaptation problems and defense mechanisms, behavioral disorders, motivation, coping with stress and leadership in behavioral sciences.
