Course Objective
To train students who understand the difference between disasters and emergencies, know the terminology used in disasters and emergencies, learn the stages of disaster management, show ideal behavior when emergency situations and disasters occur, and perform disaster, emergency and event management.
Brief Content of the Course
Disaster management phases; Risk and harm reduction: What are the steps to be taken to reduce or eliminate the impact of disasters and emergencies, Preparation: Plans, procedures, coordination studies, Response: Life and property rescue efforts, Recovery: Disaster, To return to a better situation after the emergency necessary actions.
