Course Objective
This course includes: Contemporary methods and techniques that can be used in Turkish teaching; development of receptive and productive language skills; diagnosis and elimination of reading difficulties; teaching texts according to the structure and types of reading texts, intertextual reading and writing; establishing meaning from texts, questions and types of texts related to texts, comprehension of higher-order thinking skills through reading and writing; evaluation of reading, writing, listening, speaking and comprehension; examination of the primary Turkish program, its relationship with other courses, sample activity applications related to the program.
Brief Content of the Course
Contemporary methods and techniques that can be used in teaching Turkish; development of receptive and productive language skills; identification and elimination of reading difficulties; teaching texts according to the structure and types of reading texts, intertextual reading and writing; establishing meaning from texts, questions and types related to texts, teaching higher-order thinking skills through reading and writing; evaluation of reading, writing, listening, speaking and comprehension; examination of the primary Turkish program, its relationship with other courses, sample activity applications related to the program constitute the definition of this course.
