Course Objective
To provide students? sufficient knowledge regarding the country?s past the student belongs to and in the light of existing acquirements of present day developments, gain assessment skills. In addition, in order to be prepared against possible future developments, to provide the students the skills for analysis and to anticipate the results, thereby having the student gain the ability to turn the lessons learnt from the class into practical knowledge is foreseen.
Brief Content of the Course
From the founding of the Republic of Turkey to the present day, in order to evaluate the developments in political, cultural, economic and education areas as a whole, during the planned second stage of the lesson a series of subjects such as the Basic Tenets of the Republic, Turkish Foreign and Domestic Policies During the Republic Era will be taken up in detail in the planned lesson.
