Course Objective
It is aimed for students to be able to draw geometric objects at certain scales, appearance and perspective drawings of jewellery, jewelery stones and diamond cutting drawing techniques using technical drawing tools. In addition, it is aimed for the student to learn basic production techniques, create original designs and use them in jewelry production.
Brief Content of the Course
Types and properties of materials used in jewelry production, tools and machines used, jewelry making techniques, jewelry elements, determining a theme by creating a design process, conducting research in accordance with the theme, choosing the appropriate construction technique for a given design, shaping model parts suitable for the design, using basic production techniques. making three-dimensional products, sustainable practices in jewelry design.
