Course Objective
The aim of the course is to explain the teaching of Turkish in its historical context and to examine the Turkish language course programs of the Republic period.
Brief Content of the Course
The course will primarily examine the historical process of Turkish language teaching to identify the earliest traces of Turkish language teaching, both as a native and a foreign language. Furthermore, Turkish language curriculums from the Republican era to the present will be analyzed and compared with the current Turkish curriculum.
