The opening program of the Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies Student Congress NÖHÜTOK2025 was held on May 28, 2025 in our faculty conference hall.

In the opening speeches of our congress, which was organized to ensure that 4th-year students of our faculty present their graduation theses, gain academic presentation skills and share their studies with the participants, the following statements were made;

Our Dean and Congress President Prof. Dr. Ahmet ŞEKEROĞLU stated that they organized various events to support our students both in their education and teaching lives and in their scientific lives after graduation. Stating that our students will gain presentation skills and self-confidence in our congress and that they will be able to improve themselves by learning from different studies, our Dean thanked all participants, especially the congress organizing committee and our students who made presentations, and concluded his speech.

Congress Advisory Board President Prof. Dr. Ufuk DEMİREL began his speech by mentioning the importance of this congress for the career development of our students. Prof. Dr. Ufuk DEMİREL, who stated that they shared information by presenting their theses on various subjects from different departments and different majors of our faculty and that they experienced participating in a scientific congress, concluded his speech by thanking all participants, especially the congress organizing committee and our students.

The congress was held on May 28-29 with a total of 9 sessions and 52 student presentations, and was completed on May 30 with a congress technical tour and visits to Gümüşler Monastery and Nevşehir Kozaklı Geothermal Source Greenhouse.
