In this course, students are explained how the global changes brought about by postmodernism affect society, after explaining the basis of the concept of postmodernity based on its difference with modernism. The following basic topics are covered within the scope of the course: Postmodernism as a stage of capitalism, local events versus large-scale universal or global concepts, global inequalities, and the power of media and communication in globalization are touched upon.
