As part of the Imam Hatip Week events held from October 13–21, faculty members from our school met with students at Niğde Imam Hatip Middle School.
During the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arslan Karaoğlan from the Department of Basic Islamic Sciences’ Division of Quranic Exegesis and Dr. Mahmut Gurbet, a lecturer in the Division of Hadith, met with students and shared their insights.
The program highlighted the meaning and importance of Imam Hatip Students’ Week, emphasizing the role of religious sciences in shaping an individual’s intellectual and moral world, as well as the significance of Imam Hatip schools in the educational system. Aimed at contributing to the students’ academic and spiritual development, the gathering also served as a meaningful event for strengthening cooperation between the university and secondary education institutions.
The program, which was held with the participation of our faculty members, once again highlighted the importance of Imam Hatip Week in the context of education, scholarship, and values.
