This course provides an introduction to the economic issues of the Turkey. Initially, we will investigate the historical context of Turkey and the structure of its main institutions. Turkish economy before and after Second World War, 24 January 1980 decisons and its impacts on the economy, Globalisation and its impacts, ınflation and economic crisis in Turkey will be considered. Secondly, it will address issues related to the impact of the formation of economic system on various sectors of the economy, such as agriculture, industry, environment and energy, etc. Particular attention will be paid to macroeconomic themes related economic system. We will further investigate issuesconcerning policies designed to solve problems due to economic integration to world economy.
