Document Number: 19506 Subject: Regarding New Ideas New Ventures Application Dear Sir/Madam, The “New Ideas New Ventures” event, Turkey's first early-stage acceleration program organized in collaboration with METU and METU TEKNOKENT since 2005, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The goal of New Ideas New Ventures has remained unchanged for 20 years: to reach successful entrepreneurs and support promising startups and scaleups. On this journey we embarked upon so that ideas would not remain just ideas, we have received over 5,600 applications in 20 years, hosted over 260 startups and 130 mentors, supported our entrepreneurs in bringing the ideas of companies operating in over 25 countries to life, and facilitated mutual development and learning throughout this process. Our program begins with face-to-face and online training and mentoring. Entrepreneurs who complete the training present their projects to a jury at Demo Day. Successful projects receive financial support to build their technological infrastructure and address material shortages, along with the opportunity to work at the ODTÜ TEKNOKENT Incubation Office and the ODTÜ KIBRIS KALTEV Incubation Office. This allows entrepreneurs to develop their networks and become part of an environment of development and progress, with many different ideas, opinions, and creative work, giving them the chance to adapt their projects to real life. Aware that they must first develop themselves in order to guide young entrepreneurs and individuals interested in entrepreneurship in their world.
