NUTRITION SERVICES

Meals prepared for service in the Central Cafeteria kitchen in the Central Campus of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University are served to students and staff in 7 separate cafeterias, including faculties, colleges and vocational schools in the Central Campus, Niğde Center and Bor District. In Ulukışla Vocational School, meals are prepared and served in the school's own kitchen. Nutrition services, which are carried out by the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, are provided by contractor companies under the control of a dietician, and all kinds of hygiene rules are meticulously followed at every stage from cooking to serving.

With food control organizations established separately in each unit where food service is provided, ordering, purchasing, storing, preparing food, and carrying food to student and staff dining halls, serving food, collecting and washing dishes, removing garbage, tables, chairs, benches used in dining halls, of places, devices etc. Necessary controls are made at every stage of the service such as cleaning and a quality food service is tried to be provided. Our kitchens are under camera control for 24 hours.

The food menu is prepared by the dietitian of our university and our students are provided to take 800 - 1000 k / calorie of the 2500 k / calorie that they need to take daily at lunch. Nutrition services of our university are carried out by the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, and our daily 2500-3000 students and 250-300 personnel are eating.
