Our department, which was opened in the academic year of 2009-2010, serves in Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Facultyof Sports Sciences with 3 AsistanT Professor, 2 lecturers and 1 research assistant. It started admitting students in the 2009-2010 academic year. After completing the undergraduate program consisting of compulsory and elective courses in eight semesters, our students graduate with the title of sports manager. Our students who graduate from our department can be employed in the public sector (GSGM, Sports Federations) or private sector (sports clubs in professional or amateur branches, sports clubs for health, recreation centres) in line with their preferences. Besides, if our students wish, they will be able to get a master's degree to make an academic career in physical education and sports departments in our department and other universities in our country by providing the necessary qualifications after their graduation.
