Program Outcomes
Automotive Technology Program students are expected to graduate with the following achievements:
1. They have the ability to understand the elements that constitute Automotive Technology, their areas of interest and the basic working principles of their profession, to interpret/evaluate data, identify problems and develop solution suggestions using the basic level of knowledge and skills they have acquired in their field.
2. They gain the ability to use basic level computer software and hardware, and select and effectively use the modern techniques, tools and information technologies required for applications related to their field.
3. They can use the professional environment and tools related to their field, combine theoretical knowledge with practice, and have the ability to implement projects.
4. They produce solutions and solve problems when they encounter unforeseen situations in applications related to their field.
5. They can take responsibility in teams formed in their field, and gain the ability to work as a team or individually.
6. They follow the information in their field using a foreign language that is proficient in effective communication techniques and can follow innovations in their field and communicate with their colleagues.
7. They follow the developments in science and technology in the sector as a requirement of lifelong learning and gain the awareness of constantly renewing themselves.
8. Respects historical values, has social responsibility, universal, social and professional ethics awareness.
9. Has labor law, occupational health and safety, sustainable environmental protection knowledge and quality awareness.
10. Can effectively present his/her thoughts at the level of knowledge and skills through written and verbal communication, and expresses them in an understandable manner.
