Educational Objectives and Advantages of the Programme

Bor Halil Zöhre Ataman Vocational School, Graphic Design Programme's Educational Objective:

The aim of the Graphic Design Programme is to train self-confident designers who are technically and aesthetically trained, who can analyse their environment and era, who have the researcher and creative potential to solve visual communication problems, who are equipped with the skills to adapt to the dynamic structure of the communication age. Considering the needs of the country and society, the main goal of the programme is to design products (books, magazines, packaging, websites, labels, etc.) for all kinds of media (printed, mobile, etc.) that are needed by all sectors in line with the criteria required by design. The programme aims to enable students to gain skills that they can use in their professional work life while graduating, to prepare for higher level education such as Graphic Design, Photography-Video, Communication Design and to train designers whose activities in the sector are strengthened by increasing their awareness in areas such as printing-publishing technologies and marketing.
