Program Outcomes

PO1: Have basic theoretical and practical knowledge about mathematics, science and basic engineering.

PO2: Respects historical values, has awareness of social responsibility and professional ethical values.

PO3: Gains the ability to make practical applications by using the theoretical knowledge, physical and cognitive skills required in practical applications in machine production and design.

PO4: Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in Turkish, and have a basic knowledge of a foreign language relevant to your profession.

PO5: Recognizes materials, decides on heat treatment methods and selects the appropriate material for manufacturing.  Knows what type of welding process can be done in which environments and on which materials.

PO6: Closely follows the production processes and technological developments in the industrial and service sectors in machinery matters, and has the awareness of lifelong learning and continuous self-renewal.

PO7: Learns the basic concepts about the machine, recognizes the machine elements and gains the ability to use these elements with appropriate production methods.

PO8: Gain the ability and ability to identify and effectively use modern techniques, tools and information technologies required for machine-related applications.

PO9: Knows machine drawing and design rules, designs and analyzes machine parts and a system in accordance with the desired features. Recognizes hydraulic and pneumatic circuit elements and draws them.

PO10: Designs machine parts using package programs. Knows machining and machining-free production methods and chooses the most appropriate production method. Selects appropriate cutter and cutting parameters for workpieces.

PO11: Have basic knowledge of using computers. Knows Word, Excel and Powerpoint programs at a sufficient level. He knows the working systems of computer-aided machines (CNC) related to his profession and prepares production programs for the production of parts on these machines manually or using CAD-CAM software.

PO12: Have basic measurement and quality control knowledge.  Makes production planning, prepares process cards, distributes and supervises tasks.
