On 26 February 2025, an event titled “Overview of TurkStat and Python Training” was organized at our university under the leadership of the International Trade and Logistics Club and in cooperation with other student clubs.

Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Demir and TurkStat Expert Semih Ergiş attended the event as guests. In the program, the structure and functioning of TurkStat and the importance of statistical science in Turkey were discussed, followed by a comprehensive training on the use of Python in data analysis processes.

The event, which attracted great interest from our students and academicians, was a useful experience for the participants by providing important information on data-based decision-making processes.
