Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Department of Finance has a comprehensive, innovative and qualified education system The Department of Finance aims to contribute to the development of the region and the country by expanding its academic staff with 1 Professor, 3 Associate Professors, 3 Assistant Professor Doctor, 3 Research Assistant Doctor and 2 Research Assistants, who can reveal a unique scientific understanding in the field of finance with its discipline and quality understanding in accordance with the academic culture. Thanks to the departments of Financial Economics, Budget and Fiscal Planning, Fiscal Law and Fiscal Theory, all courses of the finance department are given by expert faculty members. In our department, maximum efficiency is aimed thanks to the methods used in education such as activities for the lesson/class, group work, reading, homework, project preparation, technical trips, web-based learning, practice, vocational and social activities.

Our department, which provides undergraduate and graduate education in Turkish, has an experienced staff. In addition, students have the opportunity to receive education through Erasmus, Mevlana, Orhun abroad and Farabi domestic exchange programs.

Thanks to the student-oriented university approach, there are sports facilities at international standards and opportunities such as a double major-minor second degree, but there is no problem with accommodation.

Sabiha Şahenk Central Library, which can be used by the students of the finance department, is among the most equipped libraries in our country's university libraries. Users are served with more than 51 thousand printed books, more than 293 thousand electronic books in electronic databases and more than 35 thousand electronic journals. In addition to large and spacious reading rooms, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Sabiha Şahenk Library, which has necessary spaces for social activities such as a cafeteria, exhibition hall, conference hall, and multimedia hall, has wireless internet access on every floor. Solutions have been produced for those who want to work individually and as a group in the library, group study rooms and individual study rooms have been created.
