Our Social Contributions as the Food Engineering Department continue. An educational program on “Food Safety and Label Development” was conducted by our faculty member, Assistant Professor Betül OSKAYBAŞ EMLEK.


Within the scope of the Women's Cooperatives Empowerment Cooperation Protocol, training activities for women's cooperatives continue in line with the Work Plan prepared in cooperation with our Provincial Directorate, the Provincial Directorate of Trade, and the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. Within this scope, in cooperation with the Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Social Contribution Coordination, Dr. Betül OSKAYBAŞ EMLEK, Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Engineering, conducted training on “Food Safety and Label Development” for representatives of women's cooperatives. The training covered hygiene and safety principles in food production processes, labeling requirements within the framework of food legislation, consumer information, and label development to increase the marketability of products. Our trainer was presented with a “Certificate of Appreciation” by our Deputy Director Çetin TUTAŞ.
