Examination of elements such as contrast, rhythm, balance and form in visual expression with examples and making application studies using drawing tools such as pencil, charcoal pencil and charcoal. It is also aimed to reflect sustainability to applications.

History of writing and terms. Presentations about typefaces and designers. Historical development of the Latin alphabet, letter anatomy, structural features of the letter, calligraphy studies with cut-tip pen and calligraphy studies with brush.

This course, which aims to introduce students to the universal dimension of art, also emphasises the impossibility of an art activity without a receptor. After a general overview, the arts discussed in the light of the views of philosophers will be tried to be conveyed in a concise and understandable manner. It will also aim to have interdisciplinary consciousness by associating the concept of social sustainability with art.

It introduces various creative thinking techniques to help them generate innovative solutions in the fields of visual communication and design. This course aims to explore the social role of the artist, the impact of art on society, and the relationship between the artist and the community. Through interviews with artists and field trips, students will directly experience the social context of artistic production and gain a deeper understanding of art's place in social change.

This course is a compulsory internship program that aims to provide students with professional experience in areas such as graphic design, illustration, digital arts and printing techniques. During the internship, students analyze client briefs, produce creative solutions and gain teamwork experience by participating in design processes in a real business environment. In addition, they learn the dynamics of the sector by practicing in print and digital media applications, brand identity design and project management. At the end of the internship, students are expected to prepare an internship report evaluating the knowledge and skills they have acquired.
