TUBITAK Support for One More Project of Our Department


The project titled "Determination of Quality Levels of Fish Oils Obtained from Trout Residues through Machine Learning and Electronic Nose," led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre Yavuzer from the Department of Food Engineering, with the participation of Instructor Dilek Yaprak Uslu from the Vocational School of Social Sciences, Department of Culinary Arts, and Research Assistant Mehmet Yetişen as a scholarship holder, has been awarded support within the scope of TÜBİTAK ARDEP 1002-A. The project aims to produce functional fish oil from waste fish heads generated intensively in the trout processing process in the region and the country, and to determine the quality parameters associated with it.
