Mission
The aim of the Department of Informatics is to make arrangements with necessary organizations in order to teach the basic level of Information Technologies to the students and also to perform and coordinate the courses virtually. From this point of view, the Institution’s basic function and mission is to provide coordination and perform the courses related to Basic Information Technologies.
We expect to be the unit giving the education of basic computer and Information Technologies on a provincial basis (to not only basic levels of the students and academic staff and also to the advanced level of students and academic staff).
To be able to have an effective role in producing new Information Technologies and offering the use of them to the relevant units within the university by increasing the collaboration with the Institutions that can make joint projects and plans with universities.
To make our University one of the successful Universities nationwide by producing and using new Information Technologies with new collaborations.
To be able to make the projects accessible for and offer to the public in the other provinces as well as universities by means of a unit which can be established under the circulating capital enterprise or Techno Park.
To have the role to form targeted university –city, university-industry cooperation and also to give opportunities and offer innovations to the lecturers to improve themselves.
To be a pacesetter institution at the university and nationwide with our mission and vision.
