Internationalization and International Publication Policy

The Scientific Publications Coordination Office of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University adopts an internationalization-oriented publication policy with the aim of enhancing the university’s scientific visibility, strengthening its integration into international academic networks, and elevating publication quality to global standards.

Within this framework, the Coordination Office seeks to support the inclusion of university journals in international indexing databases (such as Scopus, Web of Science, and DOAJ), promote collaboration with international researchers, and encourage multilingual publishing.

Fundamental Principles

International Visibility
The discoverability and accessibility of publications through international databases and indexing services are encouraged.

Multilingual Publishing
Publishing opportunities in English and other foreign languages, in addition to Turkish, are supported.

Academic Collaboration
Joint publication processes and scientific cooperation with national and international universities, research centers, and scholarly organizations are encouraged.

Indexing Objectives
The necessary scientific and technical standards are pursued to enable journals to be indexed in internationally recognized databases such as Scopus and Web of Science.

Editorial Internationalization
The participation of international scholars in editorial boards and reviewer pools is encouraged.

Open Science and Open Access
Open access policies are promoted to ensure the global accessibility and dissemination of scientific knowledge.
