Are there any prerequisites for participating in the training programs organized at the Ömer Halisdemir University Continuing Education Centre?

Although it depends on the purpose and content of the training program, anyone interested in most of the training programs organized by our Centre is accepted without any prerequisite.

Can you give information about the days and hours of the training programs?

Although our trainings are generally held between 10.00-14.00 on weekends and between 18.30-21.30 in the evenings on weekdays, the days and hours can vary depending on the demand of the program participants and the academic intensity of the instructor staff.

What is the frequency of opening your training programs?

  Our training programs can be opened as often as required if the sufficient number of participants (usually at least 10 people) is reached.

Who are your trainings provide by?

 Our educational staff consists of academic staff who work in the academic units of our University and are experts in their fields outside of our University.

How many people do we need to have to open our trainings?

Although it differs according to the training program, programs can be opened with 10-15 participants in general.

How can I pre-register for a program I am interested in?

  By filling the Course application form on our site, you can pre-register for the training program you are interested in by depositing 10% of the course fee in the registration office against receipt.

Are your trainings paid?

  All training programs organized by our centre are paid.

How is the payment made? Is it possible to pay by installment or credit card?

  10% of the training price can be paid in instalments with a credit card in a way to be completed before the training program ends.

Is there a discount?

On the course fee;

- 15% discount in mass applications not less than 15 (fifteen) persons,

- 20% discount for Ömer Halisdemir University students,

- 25% discount for martyr spouses and children, veterans and disabled people are applied.

Persons who are stated to be able to benefit from discounts can benefit from the discount provided that they document their status.

Is it compulsory to attend your trainings?

The participants are obliged to fulfil the course requirements stated below.

a) Participants are obliged to attend at least 70% of theoretical courses / lectures and at least 80% of practical courses / lectures in order to be awarded with a certificate at the end of the course. It is obligatory to attend at least 80% of the certificate programs.

b) Course attendance is followed by the instructor.

c) The participant who does not attend the course in the above-mentioned ways will not be given any documents.

d) Those who do not enroll cannot participate in the course program.

Are there any documents given at the end of the training?

a) Attendance Certificate is given to the participants who attend any course organized by the Centre within the specified time and fulfil the attendance conditions by specifying the course name.

b) Participants who successfully complete the courses opened as a Certificate Program are given a “Certificate” by specifying the name of the course.

c) Participants who fail in the Certificate Program exams but who have fulfilled other necessary obligations are given a “Participation Certificate” indicating that they are attending the course only.

d) Apart from Certificate and Certificate of Participation, certification requests such as qualification and achievement certificate that can be given by the Centre are examined and resolved by the Board of Directors.

Can you give information about the certification exam?

a) Participants who successfully complete the courses opened as a Certificate Program are given a “Certificate” by specifying the name of the course.

b) Participants who fail in the Certificate Program exams but who have fulfilled other necessary obligations are just given a “Participation Certificate” indicating that they are attending the course.

Are internships and / or job opportunities given at the end of the training?

  At the end of our training, internship and / or job opportunities are not provided.
