Technology Transfer Offices are places where the activities for efficient and fast commercialization of academic research results are carried out. TTO acts as a bridge between universities and research centers and the private sector, provides the necessary connection between researchers, entrepreneurs, investors and industrialists.
Technology Transfer Offices are units established to create bridges between industry and universities in our developing economy and to contribute to the improvement of new business ideas, products and production processes and to the development of all kinds of industry-university partnerships that will contribute to the economy. These units are considered as an element of development policy in our country and their activities are supported by TÜBİTAK with support programs titled “1601 - Preparation, Initiation and Capacity Increase in Technology Transfer Offices and its Implementation” and “1513 Technology Transfer Offices Support Program”. As a prerequisite to benefit from these programs, it is necessary to be included in the list created within the scope of "Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index Ranking" in the last three years.
