Our school started education in 1994 with two programs (Tourism and Hotel Management and Accounting) in the Department of Economics and Administrative Programs and one program (Horticulture) in the Department of Technical Programs. In our School, which did not have a permanent faculty member for the first two years, courses were conducted by faculty members from other units of our university (Faculty, School and Department Heads). In 1998, the Beekeeping Program was added to the existing three programs and the number of programs increased to four. Our school continued its education activities in a part of the District Municipality building between 1994-1996, and in the Secondary Education Dormitory building affiliated with National Education between 1996-2002. In 2003, it was moved to the service building of our School.

On 26.09.2005, Çamardı Vocational School was closed and its programs were transferred to our School and the number of active programs became five with the Fisheries program. With the Organic Agriculture Program, which was opened in 2010 and has been accepting students since the 2011-2012 academic year, the number of active programs has increased to six, and Hunting and Wildlife, Environmental Cleaning and Control and 2020-2021 programs, which were opened in 2012 and started to accept students since the 2012-2013 academic year. The number of active programs has increased to nine with the Rail Systems Management Program, which has started to accept students since the academic year. Aquaculture and Beekeeping Programs in the 2011-2012 academic year, Horticulture Program in the 2012-2013 academic year, Tourism and Hotel Management Program in the 2014-2015 academic year, Organic Agriculture Program in the 2016-2017 academic year, Environmental Cleaning and Student admission to the Audit Program has been stopped by the Higher Education Institution as of 2020-2021. With the letter dated 75850160-104.01.01.01-E.73707 from the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education, it has been deemed appropriate to open the Rail Systems Machinist programs affiliated with the Department of Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies within our school.
