The purpose of the program is to educate healthcare personnel who provide all kinds of the numbered lenses, optical vision equipment,  frames to the patient, who mount the lenses in accordance with the standards, be able to repairs and assembles the lenses. In this program, it is our priority to train an “Optician” who has scientific equipment and gives importance to human health and ethical values. Graduates from this program will be given an "Opticianry" Associate Degree diploma, and graduates of the Program can be employed as a responsible manager in optician establishments in the private sector or start their own business. Niğde Zübeyde Hanım Vocational School of Health Services Department of Medical Services and Techniques Opticianry Program has 4 academic staff. The optician program is a 4-semester associate degree program with a value of 30 ECTS, and started education with 38 students in the 2019-2020 academic year. We continue to provide education with 137 students in the 2023-2024 Academic Year.
