Strengths
The presence of the Electrical, Alternative Energy Resources Technology and Renewable Energy Resources departments, which are the base of our program, in the Industrial Vocational High Schools in Niğde Center and surrounding provinces.
The student capacity of our program is fully filled in the placement made by ÖSYM every year.
The wide opportunity for our students who graduate from the program to find jobs in factories, power plants and various institutions and organizations both in our region and outside our region.
Since our students generally complete the necessary infrastructure and come from the Industrial Vocational High School while being placed in the program, they do not have much difficulty in the applied courses in the program.
The presence of a sufficient number of teaching staff.
The teaching staff have the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge in their fields.
The machines and equipment in our laboratory are at a level that will provide the students with the necessary knowledge and skills.
Weaknesses
The school building is far from the center.
The numerical bases of the students coming from the Vocational High School and regular high schools are not at a sufficient level.
The number of equipment that the student can use while practicing is not sufficient.
The occasional shortage of training materials during the practice.
Opportunities
The fact that the field of Electrical and Energy is constantly up-to-date and standing.
Students have the opportunity to vertically transfer to 4-year faculties with DGS after graduating from school.
Good communication with other programs in terms of social aspects.
A peaceful educational environment within the program.
The practices that students have done at school regarding their professions will definitely come across them in market conditions.
Threats
Our college is far from the residential area.
The infrastructure of students coming to the program from Vocational High Schools and regular high schools decreases every year and this is reflected in the student's success profile.
