Sema Performance Got Great Credit
A sema show was organized within the scope of the social program of the 1st International Symposium on Turkish World Studies held at our university.
The program, which was held at the School of Physical Education and Sports Gymnasium and lasted about 2 hours, was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Görür, Rector of Kazakh State Girls' Pedagogical University Prof. Dr. Dinar Nöketeyeva, Bor Governor Abdullah Küçük, our lecturers, students and many guests attended.
The sema performance performed by the Konya Turkish Sufi Music Ensemble of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Fine Arts, was performed by the Director of the Turkish Music State Conservatory of our university, Assoc. A Concert with the Theme "Songs Welcoming the Spring" was Held at Our University
A series of concerts were held at our university within the scope of the promotion activity of the Turkish Music State Conservatory.
Soloist Turkish Music State Conservatory Instructor Inst. See. The Niğde University Turkish Music Executive Committee's "Songs Welcoming Spring" concert, performed by Selçuk Timur, was held at the Derbent Culture Hall.
The concert was attended by our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Yıldırım, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Zeki Doğan, Director of Turkish Music State Conservatory Assoc. Dr. Feyzan Vural took place with the great interest and participation of academic staff, students and Niğdelis.
The program was organized by Turkish Music State Conservatory Director Assoc. Dr. It started with Feyzan Vural giving information about the Turkish Music Department opened within the conservatory. Assoc. Dr. Feyzan Vural; "Within the scope of the education plan that we have created in an effort to provide qualified education to our students, we aim to raise individuals who have in-depth knowledge of Turkish Music, have a good command of their instrument and are competent in world music," he said.
Stating that they have an extremely young, dynamic and idealistic staff, Assoc. Dr. Vural also thanked the Rectorate of Niğde University for all their support in terms of staff establishment and physical equipment.
Composed by the academic staff and students of Niğde University (Assoc. Kânun), Undergraduate Student Ali Nünükoğlu (Violin), Undergraduate Student Bahadır Büyükgazez (Rhythm) Turkish Music Executive Committee gave place to the distinguished works of Turkish Art Music's reputable composers. The concert, in which 16 beautiful works of composers such as Avni Anıl, M. Nûreddin Selçuk, Yurdal Tokcan, Erol Sayan were performed in the makams of Kürdî, Hüseynî, Bayâtî, Hüzzam, Segâh and Nihâvent, was highly appreciated by the audience.
After the concert, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Yıldırım by soloist Inst. See. While a plaque of appreciation was presented to Selçuk Timur, a flower was presented by Yaşar Hüseyin, a board member of Ankara Turkish Classical Music Volunteers Education and Research Association.

Nigde University Ethem Ruhi Üngör Choir May 24, 2014 which is incorporated in Ankara "19 Turkey Choirs Festival" at 94 units chorus from within, by the selection jury "People Success Music in interpretation" was found worthy to receive the award.
Our choir will welcome you to this festival, with Chief Assoc. Dr. It participated with 35 students of Niğde University under the direction of Timur VURAL. Especially folk music samples attracted great interest in the concert, which consisted of eight pieces. Our choir, who made the opening of the concert with the song "Soma'ya Requiem", composed by Timur VURAL and lyrics by Feyzan VURAL, received great applause. Our choir, which also performed polyphonic Turkish music works of different styles, concluded its concert with the Niğde folk song "Water comes flowing", which was organized by Timur VURAL.
After and during the concert, our choir won the great interest and appreciation of the jury and the audience and was awarded the "Success in Folk Music Interpretation" at the award ceremony held at 20:30 on May 25, 2014.

Our University Etem Ruhi Üngör Choir was held on 5-7 December 2014 at the “1. Choirs participated in the "Choirs Festival" in Ankara.
Our choir, which took the stage at the event held in the Presidential Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Conductor Assoc. Dr. He gave a concert consisting of 11 pieces under the direction of Timur Vural. Etem Ruhi Üngör Choir has succeeded in demonstrating our university's pioneering identity in educational and cultural activities in Ankara with its wide and educated chorists of 40 people.
At the concert, which was listened to by many music lovers from Ankara, our choir attracted great attention with its Turkish Folk Music Polyphonic works. Our choir, which tries to promote the culture of Niğde, Niğde University and the province of Niğde, left its mark on the festival with local folk songs such as Niğde Bağları, Su Gelir Akmadanan and Kar mı Yağmış.
After the concert, conductor Assoc. Dr. Timur Vural took it. Making a short speech, Assoc. A “Turkish Folk Music Concert” was organized by the Turkish Music State Conservatory of our university for our students, academic and administrative staff.
Our University Congress and Cultural Center Hall held the concert in 1923, with our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Şener, Deputy Governor Abdullah Uçgun, Provincial Police Chief Ali Kemal Kurt, academic and administrative staff and a large number of our students watched with great interest. The concert included original and popular Turkish folk music such as Aziz Dostum, Zahidem, Skirt Sarı and Niğde Bağları. the piece was performed.
During the concert, which lasted about an hour, Lecturer from Turkish Music State Conservatory. See. The music group consisting of Turkish Music State Conservatory students and lecturers accompanied the songs performed by Resul Bag as solo.
