Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Science and Letters, which I have been honored and proud to work at every stage of its developmental stages since its establishment, started its educational activities in 1993-1994.

The Faculty of Arts and Sciences maintains its presence in the academic world in order to educate individuals who can think globally and are equipped with knowledge and skills that are valid all over the world by offering education and training in accordance with the strategic goals of our country. Our efforts to prepare young people for the future, which can contribute to the scientific development of our country and the world, and which can produce information and technology, continue uninterruptedly. Our faculty provides undergraduate, graduate and doctorate education in Western Languages ??and Literatures, Biology, Biotechnology, Geography, Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literatures, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Art History, Sociology, History and Turkish Language and Literature with its academic staff.

Our faculty is working to realize the total quality management practices in education with the academicians who are self-developed in the field, equipped with scientific research and activities and sharing their acquisitions with the students.

Our faculty, which is qualified with theoretical and practical trainings, classrooms, lecture halls, laboratories, reading room, department libraries and educational technologies required for socio-cultural activities, is strengthening its competence in local, regional and global scale.
