Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Communication was established in accordance with the articles of the Council of Higher Education dated 09/12/2011 and numbered 8507-052617, based on the decision of the Council of Ministers, published in the Official Gazette dated 24/10/2011 and numbered 28094.

Within our faculty; There are 3 departments: Radio, Television and Cinema Department, Public Relations and Advertising Department, and Journalism Department.

Students were enrolled in our Public Relations and Advertising Department undergraduate program for the first time in the 2013-2014 academic year, and education continues with a total of 242 students.

Efforts to eliminate the deficiencies in the academic staff, budget and technical infrastructure of our faculty are being carried out rapidly.

Student admission to the Department of Journalism has started in the 2019-2020 Academic Year. Students will be accepted to the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema in the 2020-2021 Academic Year.
