General Information



Department of Computer and Instructional Technologies Education, Faculty of Education was established in 1998 within the framework of the restructuring of the project.

There are 3 Associate Professor.

The graduates having satisfactorily completed the programme are awarded bachelor’s diploma in the field of Computer Education.

In order to be accepted to the programme, the students should have a diploma of a high school or equivalent schools, and should have got sufficient points from the examinations of ÖSYM in the corresponding field.

The students studying at Ömer Halisdemir University may be exempt from some courses as per the Regulation on Education and Examination System of Associate and Bachelor’s Degree at Ömer Halisdemir University. In order to be exempt from the courses, the students should apply for exemption within the specified period and obtain approvals from the executive boards of related schools/faculties/graduate schools.

In order to be able to graduate, the candidates should complete the courses in the Programme (240 ECTS in total) and have a grade point average of 2.00 out of 4.00.

The students having graduated from the programme may continue their master’s degree education provided that they meet the requirements specified in the regulation on master’s degree education.

The exams of Ömer Halisdemir University are carried out in accordance with the workload of the students during Bologna Process as per Regulation on Education and Examination System of Associate and Bachelor’s Degree at Ömer Halisdemir University.

Scientific studies are intensively realized in our department.
