The Department of Art Teaching, which was established with the opening of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University in 1992, started education in 1995 within the Faculty of Education of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. 1 Associate Professor, 2 Assistant Professors, 2 Lecturers are serving in our department.

Participants and instructors are exchanging cooperation and mutual views with various countries under the ERASMUS project.

The department receives about 30 students each year. Students who have successfully completed the undergraduate program of the compulsory and elective courses are informed that the Ministry of National Education is full of the four year study period as the basic condition of the teacher purchases; It is equipped with basic knowledge, skills and values ??such as credit and teacher formation required for field competence.

Successful students may pursue a second master's degree or minor degree in other disciplines.

Students who graduate from our department can graduate from private schools and private schools without a thesis and can take part in the Ministry of National Education if they are successful in the KPSS exams. In various institutions, they can do computer based work with the computer skills they can learn by train. Scientific studies are being done intensively in our department.
